As an artist I’ve worked in several mediums. In the late sixties I bought my first 35mm film camera and used it to capture scenes that I wanted to paint over the cold New England winters. Slowly photography became an artistic tool. I still had to think of light, shadow and composition. But like any new medium I had to learn how to use it. It wasn’t until I was given my first digital camera that a whole new creative world opened for me.
Today I live in Ellicott City, Maryland and photography has become my favorite creative outlet. Digital software became my darkroom with endless creativity possibilities. I enjoy travel, landscape, portrait and composite photography. I found photography gives me the opportunity to learn, explore and be creative.
I’ve been a member of the Central Maryland Photographers Guild since 2010. I served on the board of directors and served as the gallery director.
Thanks for stopping by.
